Allen Burke joined Interlochen Group in 2020 and is responsible for operations and client delivery.
Allen has served the middle-market for over 20 years as in-house CFO and as an external consultant in a variety of industries including, but not limited to, healthcare, real estate, software, professional services, technology, manufacturing, chemicals, consulting, distribution, and medical products.
Allen has had the good fortune to have worked at and with marquee names in financial services and corporate America. He began his career with Ernst & Young, working with audit clients of all shapes and sizes, both public and private, worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Transaction Advisory group performing buy and sell side due diligence for private equity and strategic buyers and sellers and then with Morgan Stanley’s private equity real estate group before moving in-house as the North America & Latin America controller of a global professional services firm. He subsequently held senior leadership roles as CFO of a medical provider, a national real estate developer and management company, a technology start up and a “big data” enterprise.
His international and cross border experience includes having worked to start financial operations in Mexico, Chile and Peru and having worked with other business units in the United Kingdom, Brazil, South Africa, Canada and Argentina.
Described by one lender as “the Fixer”, Allen’s calm demeanor and logical approach has guided many through transitions, distress, capital raise or situations requiring deft navigation during turbulent times. He provides data driven insight and analysis, identifies gaps, implements process and structural improvements to improve outcomes.
Allen is a CPA and earned his MBA from Georgia State University’s Robinson College of Business and his Bachelor of Business Administration with a double major in accounting and economics from Millsaps College.
Allen and his family live in Atlanta, Georgia and when not serving clients or engaged in community service he enjoys distance running.
